Hydroboost Brake Pedal Goes To Floor

Technically there are two main causes that would make the brake pedal sink all the way to the floor.

Hydro boost brake system i ve never had any issues with the brakes since i ve had it. Check the hydro boost for leaks. Apply the brake pedal with approximately 100lbs force and hold while checking hydro boost hose fittings for leaks. Pressure on the brake fluid cases the brakes to be applied to the wheels.

Do not hold brake pedal at 100 lbs. It cine from the master cylinder to what i believe is the steering pump or box. Presumably it is putting the brakes on when this happens. A bad brake booster.

If it s low top it off to the mark on the side of the reservoir. If a valve is stuck open it will keep sucking until the pedal goes to the floor and will only release once the engine has stopped. My friend noticed a lot of fluid leaking. If the hose fittings do not leak go to step 5. The leak may coming from a brake line or one of the brake calipers. I check the brake fluid reservoir and both had plenty of fluid i did find one leak.
