That s a full 300g heavier than the lgv master pro hitherto my heaviest rifle and in my perception a veritable sack of cement.
Hw77 laminate review.
The fore end of the stock feels about the same as the older stock and my previous hw97k.
The hw77 was the more accurate and made up for the trade off in power.
With good pellets this rifle is dead on from about 50 to 65 yds 2 target and i m getting hits on circular saw blades at 100.
Check out the picture below.
Okay those radical looks may just be a step too far for many a traditionalist but for discerning airgun shooters that appreciate fine engineering and slickly finished woodwork this green laminate stocked version just can t be ignored.
On test here is a special edition model of the hw77 and it really is quite a stunner.
The forest green laminate version of the beechwood hw77k.
The weight allows the rifle to have good levels of power while maintaining low recoil and minimal hold sensitivity.
I think the dimensions are the same as the synthetic stock but the laminate sporter stock is much heavier.
These fixed barrel rifles with an under lever cocking action are the ultimate sporting rifles in providing maximum power and accuracy.
If long distance accuracy is a primary goal the hw77 is a great choice as long as weight isn t a problem.
At 4 2 kg unscoped this laminate version of the 97 is the veritable fatty arbuckle of the airgun world.
Infact the hw77 and 97 laminate are around the same whopping 4 3kg.
They are the ideal choice for the long distance shooter who values performance combined with minimum recoil.
