The best way to fix a scratch or two in your floor is to purchase a wax based repair kit. Thoroughly clean the area and make sure you match the wax to your floor before you fill the scratch. To fix scratches on engineered hardwood you ll need floor repair wax. Engineered hardwood floors are more durable than a traditional wood floor but they can still get scratched.

A complete sanding removes scratches but beware. If you have an engineered wood floor with a real wood surface make sure the real wood surface is more than 1mm thick sanding usually takes at least this much wood off the surface so a thicker layer is required for a complete sanding. Some waxes come in a stick shaped similar to a crayon or marker. This only works on real wood floors not bamboo.
