Laminate floor buckling like lifting can be caused by changes in temperature and humidity levels.
This will often pop the joints loose even if the planks are glued together.
Starting from the wall remove each of the laminate flooring planks until you reach the damaged area.
Do this carefully so that you do not compromise the floors.
Remove thresholds and shoe molding and then remove damaged pieces of flooring without disturbing the good ones.
Apply the adhesive by squeezing some in between the long sides of the tiles.
You can use a very thin blade like that on a multi tool to cut out the damaged piece then drop in a replacement piece to fit gluing it down solidly underneath.
You can pick up flooring adhesive at stores like the home depot or order some online.
The repair process is basically the same.
Make sure there is a proper expansion gap around every wall and stationary object around the room.
Make sure the wall base moldings are not pinching the laminate flooring.
There should be a small gap between the laminate flooring and the bottom of the molding.
Attach the replacement planks with flooring adhesive.
Stack the planks in order of removal to make cutting easier if it will be necessary.
Use a 3 8 in 0 95 cm drill bit to make a relief hole at the inner ends of the lines you marked for the cut lines.
Replace the damaged planks with new planks.
If spacers were used between the wall and the board closest to it replace them with smaller spacers.
Make another set of holes 1 4 in 0 64 cm in from the outer ends of the relief lines.
Begin at the nearest edge where you can access the damaged area.
Pry up the flooring at seam locations.
Laminate flooring that swells due to moisture should be disassembled and new pieces installed.
Slowly remove the laminate flooring planks until you reach the damaged area.
